Vlog: Boglins Hand Puppets.

One thing I dig about Dino Drac is the chance to get even more mileage out of things I’ve already covered a hundred times. Yay for Boglins!

If you don’t remember them, Boglins were monstrous, rubber hand puppets that came out in the late ’80s, ready to rock our worlds with twirling arms and gaping mouths. While a much bigger deal overseas, they still had their day in the sun here, and even if it only lasted a few short months, the “Boglins Era” was among my favorite moments of kid life.

They came in many shapes and sizes, but “Bog-O-Bones” and “Blobkin” — a pair of special edition Halloween Boglins — were clearly the fan favorites. Or, you know, my favorites.

I liked Boglins enough to film a ten minute video about them.

Heh, “film.” I sound so pro.

I can’t remember who, but someone actually requested this as a vlog topic. Blame them.

Oh, and here’s the YouTube backup version. I’m being so stubborn on the Vimeo thing.
