1988 TV Broadcast of Halloween III!

According to social media, the Halloween season officially began on July 5th! That’s probably a stretch for some, but we’ll take any excuse to gab about Halloween III: Season of the Witch for an hour.

The latest Purple Stuff Podcast is finally here, and this one is SO up our alley. With an assist from our pal Lincoln, we’re diving into a November 1988 television broadcast of Halloween III, exactly as it aired on our beloved local station, WPIX!

We’ll tell you about our favorite parts of the film, get into some trivia, compare the TV edit to the theatrical cut, and even discuss some of the old commercials that aired during the broadcast! It’s a terrifying tour de force!
