Welcome to the Salticidae residence. Pardon the unfinished look, but they prefer it that way. Smooth walls are just counter intuitive for their needs. In this first room, we have the matriarch of the group: Ms. Platycryptus Undatus. She’s tough but fair. In all honesty, she has to be, these webs can get out of control. And with some minor territorial issues, interwoven webs just bring family relationship strains to a whole new level. Over to the right is Old Man Sitticus and Old Maid Habronattus Decorus. Some gossip is going around about her name. The running theory is that she made it up, but she gives the place some sense of style, so no one presses the issue.

Code Name: The Sky Loft, this is the place to be. After commissioning an artist to paint a very detailed representation of the cosmos, someone mentioned that they could have just used wallpaper, as it’s much cheaper. They were never invited back.

The Sky Loft serves as a quick place to eat and hang out. Giant leafhoppers are often on the menu, but tend to get tiresome after a while. The Zebra twins in the back seem to never leave, and a meeting tonight will determine their future here. The back rent they owe is enormous.

Sleeping arrangements are varied, but space is at a premium when your extended family is in the thousands. To the left is Ziggy. He won’t give up his real name, and tends to talk too much. He doesn’t have a permanent room, and never seems to sleep. An intervention is planned soon.

Finally we arrive at the kids room. They’re all thrown in together, since spider parenting is near non-existent so they use this excuse to turn a blind eye to their shenanigans. In front are the Phiddipus brothers. They went through a rebellious rap phase and tried going by the name Phiddy Cent, but that was not going to fly in this household.

One may wonder why there’s a springtail in the background, but all kids need pets. It helps clean up after them too, since they are slobs! What brats.
