At the end of Return of the Jedi, being thrown down the shaft of the Death Star did not kill Emperor Palpatine. Instead, the enormous amount of energy sent him hurling through time and space to the front of Dino Drac’s Luxury Apartments. Dinosaur Dracula wanted to charge Palpatine a large amount for his apartment, but the Emperor managed to get a deal by mentioning some incriminating photos.

Living in a complex so hip that Tom Brokaw once called it the “Melrose Place of Staten Island” has taken its toll on Palpatine. He constantly has to deal with loud music from his upstairs neighbors. Unfortunately his force powers don’t work in this dimension, so all he can do is angrily shake his fist at the ceiling and dream of shooting them with lightning.
