I was a student that started to dabble in black magic.  That is how I found myself imprisoned in this place.  I know not the malevolent thing that keeps me here or its intent.  This apartment is adequately furnished and my needs are meet however I am never conscious when things are replenished.

Although my spell books and runes are available I have not found the correct incantation to escape.  I do not know exactly how long I’ve been here but I must be beyond my fiftieth year.  I will make a final attempt to escape tonight that will result in my freedom or death.  I will welcome either.
