Monster Cereal Commercials!
It’s stormy, cold and almost unnaturally dark out tonight, so this video is super appropriate:
Suggested by jjwspider, it’s a compilation of vintage Monster Cereal TV commercials. Almost 30 minutes’ worth!
Jjwspider adds: “This includes an appearance by Fruit Brute at around 5:35, and some awesome Star Wars trading cards near the 7:22 mark.”
Great stuff!
Now working on next week’s run of spooky content, which will hopefully include a new video and a podcast.
PS: While I have tons of suggested videos to use throughout the Halloween season, a quick inspection reveals that there are a bunch of slots still open!
If you wanna suggest a video to be run on Dino Drac After Dark, just email me the link, the name you’d like to be credited with, and if you like, a few sentences about the video. (Obviously, it should be something appropriate to run during the Halloween season!)
Free-For-All Friday Thread #10!
You made it through the week! Time for your Free-For-All Friday Thread!
If you’re new to Dino Drac After Dark, Fridays are all about you. Chat about whatever you want in the comments.
If you wanna tell us about your day, go for it. If you wanna name your three favorite rides at a local amusement park, go for it. If you wanna discuss grapes, the floor is yours.
While it’s generally cool to go off-topic in any After Dark post, Fridays are specifically for that purpose. The only rules are to have fun and stay chill.
PS: It’s September! That means we’re in the Halloween season officially, and it also means that this is your first official WEEKEND of the Halloween season! Yay! Make the most of it!
If you want a little background noise for tonight, here’s the complete soundtrack for Jason X. Which is actually way cooler than I’ve ever noticed before. Never doubt Manfredini!
Happy Free-For-All Friday!
America’s Scariest Haunted Attractions!
Here’s another pick from the awesome vhslvy!
Enjoy America’s Scariest Haunted Attractions, from the Travel Channel.
I live for these sorts of specials. They’re just so… utterly watchable. And the good news is that there are ten billion of them, so if you finish this one and crave more, even a light search of YouTube will provide half a day’s worth of similar videos.
Terrordrome: Rise of the Boogeymen!
God, this is so cool. I love you guys for suggesting so many great videos!
From Al Boondy, it’s a playthrough of the famous fan-made game, Terrordrome: Rise of the Boogeymen.
Al says: “Don’t know if you’ve ever heard of it, but this is a fan-made video game that’s basically just Mortal Kombat with classic horror movie characters. (Jason, Freddy, Ash, Pinhead, Maniac Cop, etc.) This is a playthrough with Michael Myers.”
So, so great. You can Google around for the game if you’re dying to try it, but I’m perfectly satisfied watching others play.
Thanks for sending this in, Al!
