Happy Survey!
Yesterday, I challenged you to name the saddest movie moments.
Tonight, I want you to name some of the happiest.
In the comments, name a movie scene (or two, or three) that just makes you riotously happy.
Could be because it’s hilarious, could be because it’s heartfelt, could be because it’s Amy from Congo wearing a makeshift Power Glove.
Sad Survey!
Surprise survey night!
In the comments, talk about the SADDEST movie moments.
(…which may also be your favorite movie moments, but not necessarily!)
Who Shrunk Saturday Morning?
Ooh, this looks like a good one. Thanks for the suggestion, Noah D.!
Who Shrunk Saturday Morning? was a 1989 TV special made to promote that year’s lineup of kid-centric NBC shows. It was hosted by the cast of Saved by the Bell, and while that should be enough to get you to sample the video, there’s sooo much more to love in here. Like, everything from Marsha Warfield to a car-sized Nintendo joystick.
It’s unbelievable, guys. You’re gonna dig this.
Filmation Ghostbusters Episode!
Here’s an episode of Filmation’s Ghostbusters cartoon — meaning the one with the gorilla, not the one with Slimer.
I haven’t watched it yet, but I can’t imagine that an episode titled SHADES OF DRACULA won’t work for this crowd.
The episode originally aired in 1986, which is also when the Mets won the World Series. That’s the only sports thing I know, btw.
