Siskel & Ebert Review F13 Part 4!
By the time most of you read this, it’ll be Friday the 13th! (Yessss.)
Celebrate with Siskel & Ebert’s review of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, from 1984.
I haven’t watched this yet, but I’m guessing that neither were particularly fond of Jason’s exploits.
The F13 business starts at the 11:45 mark.
Sectaurs!
Here’s a random episode of Sectaurs, from 1985:
I barely remember the cartoon, but Sectaurs remains one of my all-time favorite toy lines. Picture He-Man with bugs, and you’re on the right track.
This is the third of the show’s five total episodes. I’m not sure if it’ll be easy to pick up without seeing the first two eps, but I guess you’re about to find out!
Free-For-All Friday Thread #21!
Happy Free-For-All Friday, if you’re here for it! Talk about anything!
Here are a couple of videos to get you through the night…
THE LEGEND OF ZELDA – FULL NES PLAYTHROUGH
KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE – FULL SOUNDTRACK
Have an excellent weekend!
Killdozer.
Keep an eye on the main site tomorrow — new piece going up that I’m pretty excited about. It’s a breezy one, but very on-brand. I’m also cooking up the next edition of Tiny Tributes to Minor Monsters, which we’ll (hopefully) close out the week with.
And then it’ll be WrestleMania weekend, so don’t expect much because I’ll be toasted through most of it. (Say what you will about the current WWE product, and I admit that I’m kind of a fair-weather fan at this point, but between NXT, the Hall of Fame and Mania itself, it’s sure looking like a great weekend of wrestling.)
Tonight’s video is Killdozer, a TV movie from 1974. I can’t remember what chain of Google searches led me to this, but it sounds perfect for Dino Drac After Dark. Get a load of this synopsis, ripped from IMDB:
“A small construction crew on an island is terrorized when some strange spirit-like being takes over a large bulldozer, and goes on a killing rampage.”
WOW. I know it’s Wednesday and none of you have time for movies about killer bulldozers right now, but, like, bookmark it or something.
