Silver Surfer!

Remember that old Seinfeld bit where George brags about his ability to grow on women, even if they initially dislike him? That’s the situation I had with the Silver Surfer animated series, from 1998.

At first, I thought it was irritatingly slow and maybe even outright boring, but over time, I really got into the series and appreciated how unique it was. It almost felt like a throwback to the era of those ancient Superman shorts.
