As the star of a wildly popular series of home appliance commercials, Eltro the Emperor Penguin is treated with great care and respect. In fact, “his people” set him up with his own apartment!

Of course, Eltro is still very much a normal penguin, and he really doesn’t need such elaborate digs. The company behind his commercials handles the rent, and they even took care of the decorating!

Reasoning that penguins probably enjoy Christmas, Eltro’s apartment was given a distinct holiday theme. There are several Christmas trees, lots of poinsettia centerpieces, and no less than a thousand blinking pink lights!

His main hobbies include standing on the couch, pecking at the furniture, and running the air conditioner on full blast even when it’s the middle of January.

Eltro couldn’t possibly understand how lucky he is to live in a place like this.
