1985 Halloween Safety Film!
Okay, tonight’s pick is pretty famous and was suggested by a whole bunch of people, but it looks like the incomparable Brew Berry sent it in first. Congrats, Brew!
Get a load of Halloween Safety, an educational video from 1985. It’s cheesy and weird but also wholesome and charming, and as Brew Berry said in his email, there’s even a great “floating mask rave” at the beginning.
(Pretty sure this one came up on an ancient episode of the podcast, too!)
Dracula: The Series!
Here’s a perfect pick for a spooky Saturday night, from Raven Odette!
It’s the pilot episode of Dracula: The Series, from 1990. Like Raven describes in her email, it is SO ‘90s.
From Raven: “The highlight of the episode is when Dracula says he has MTV piped into his castle because he loves Young MC and later on name-drops Milli Vanilli.”
Dracula: The Series made it to 21 episodes before its cancellation in 1991. It’s one of those shows that nobody ever seems to talk about, but if you like what you see here, the same uploader seems to have put every single episode on YouTube.

Here’s your Free-For-All Friday Thread!
I’ve had a long day! I’m gonna go lay on the couch and watch Boardwalk Empire reruns!
Talk about whatever you want in the comments. Have fun!
Sightings Halloween Episode!
Ooh, here’s a red hot pick from Goat Royale that I cannot wait to sink my teeth into:
So, it looks like Sightings had some HALLOWEEN episodes! I totally did not know this! Here’s one of them, from 1993.
Goat Royale says: “One could argue that almost ANY episode of Sightings would fit thematically with Halloween, but this one was specifically made with the season in mind!”
I’m a big Sightings fan in general, so this is WAY up my alley.
