Dino Drac After Dark

Robocop: The Animated Series!

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. Ours was madness, as usual. I spent the entire day glued to the couch, trying to recover from two straight days of parties and mayhem and way too many shots.

Got some great stuff for Christmas, but I’ll save that story for tomorrow’s article. For now, let us enjoy December 26th lazily, as it was meant to be enjoyed. Here’s a goddamned RoboCop cartoon:

I remember very little about RoboCop: The Animated Series. So little that I can’t rule out the possibility that I’ve never actually seen it. Either way, it sounds like the perfect cartoon for a night like this!

Tales from the Darkside? For Christmas?!

By the time you read this, it’ll be Christmas Eve. If you’ve seen my latest post on the main site, you know that I have a zillion things to do!

A lot of you probably do, too. Actually, God knows if more than three people will even see this. I’m just gonna run on the assumption that someone needs something to watch tonight!

Tonight’s video is extra special, and was just sent my way by a Dino Drac reader. It’s a Christmassy episode of Tales from the Darkside, complete with its original commercials!

Seasons of Belief is one of the show’s most famous episodes. I’m hesitant to tell you what it’s about, because even the least-hinting description will say too much. I will say that it’s an awesome blend of horror and the holidays, so if you’re sick of all of the cartoons I’ve been posting, this one’s for you.

Merry Christmas Eve, all!

Inspector Gadget Saves Christmas?

Uh, yeah, SOLD.

Despite the title of this YouTube video, Inspector Gadget Saves Christmas premiered in 1992. Unfortunately, I’m too drunk to look up anything else about it. Give me a break, it’s Christmas.

A Chipmunk Christmas!

I only have a minute tonight, but I’m leaving you in good hands:

A Chipmunk Christmas premiered in 1981 but was eventually lost in the shuffle, never quite becoming one of the specials that you could count on seeing every year for a whole lotta years. I’m still surprised about that. It’s legit good and it just looks like a classic, if that makes sense. I think you’ll enjoy it, whether you grew up rockin’ out to their squeaky voices or not!
