UNITED STATES ONLY! LIMITED SUPPLY!

February is one of the dreariest months of the year, so I designed this box with weird winter cheer in mind. Weird winter cheer, and so much Batman. Keep scrolling to learn about everything in this month’s Funpack!

*ONE* BATMAN RETURNS TOY PER FUNPACK!

Okay, let’s talk about this! Back in 1992, McDonald’s released a set of four Batman Returns toys, to help promote the new movie. This angered MANY parents who felt that Batman Returns was way too dark for a kid-targeted promotion.

While stories about McD’s yanking them from distribution may be tall tales, it’s very much true that the hubbub surrounding this had a huge impact on Hollywood, which grew to err on the side of caution so as not to piss off any potential marketing partners.

Whatever the case, it was an amazing Happy Meal, which I’ve perfectly reconstructed for this month’s Funpack. You’ll receive a HM-inspired gift box stuffed with a sealed, vintage Batman Returns Happy Meal toy, plus gummi versions of a burger, fries and soda!

You’ll receive one of these four toys, at random:

1. Batman’s Rocket-Powered Batmobile
2. Batman’s Press-and-Go Car
3. Catwoman’s Cat Coupe
4. The Penguin’s Umbrella Roto-Roaster

Toys are in mint, unused condition. Bag conditions range from great to just okay. Merged with the candy in the special gift box, it’ll be just like busting into a Batman Returns Happy Meal from 1992!

Next up, you’ll each receive a vintage NOID figurine, still in its factory baggie! Used as part of some ancient Domino’s Pizza promotion (in ‘88, I believe), there are two figures in the mix — a boxing Noid, and a Noid with a jackhammer.

You’ll get one of those two in untouched, still-bagged condition, along with a big gummy pizza for the Noid to hoard/eat/whatever. Oh, and I’ll toss in a couple of vintage Domino’s Pizza promo stickers, too. In the February Funpack, you cannot avoid the Noid!

Then there’s this sweet little pile of vintage trading card packs, including:

1. Batman Returns JUMBO pack (1992)
2. ProSet Superstars Music Cards (1991)
3. Army of Darkness Cards (2005)

That last pack is pretty rare, and I’m thrilled to include it. It’s worth noting that all of these packs come from unsorted, sealed boxes — meaning that any exclusives and rares that may be peppered into the packs are absolutely still in there!

Oh hey, remember those old Whatchamacallit commercials? Better yet, remember Whatchamacallit candy bars? Seems like nobody’s really paying them any attention these days, but Hershey’s still makes them!

You’ll each receive a full-sized 1.8oz Whatchamacallit bar, fortuitously shipped during a cold month when they’re all but guaranteed not to melt! This is a real “comfort” candy bar — the kind that’ll make you wanna spend a whole night being full and happy on the couch.

Awww! I hope you’re prepared for the responsibility, because you’re about to be the proud owner of an adorable baby penguin. I rescued these little guys from the Penguin’s clutches, before he could train them to shoot missiles all over Gotham.

Each 4” plush doll is brand new, still-tagged and waiting to be hugged.

This month’s exclusive 5×7” mini-poster continues the Batmania with a money shot of McDonald’s Batman Returns fries… which are really just regular McD’s fries in a Batman container.

You’ll also receive this month’s exclusive 2×2” sticker, celebrating the long-lost greatness of Good Humor’s Vampire Secret bars!

Rounding things out, you’ll also receive this month’s Funpack Newsletter, plus an exclusive essay that will never be reprinted on the site.

This month’s essay is about my fifth grade birthday party at NJ’s legendary Razz-Ma-Tazz arcade. It was probably the only time in elementary school that I got to be one of the cool kids.

So yep, you’ll get all of the above for $25 shipped!

If you’re already a subscriber, do nothing, you’re all set!

If you’re not a subscriber, unfortunately, subscriptions are closed for this month. I have a few February Funpacks to sell on an individual basis (no subscription), which you can purchase at the link below while supplies last.

All of the February Funpacks will ship by Thursday, 2/18. Most will arrive within a week from that day, but please allow up to an extra week for arrival as the USPS is still playing catch-up after the busy holiday season.

The February Funpacks are now *mostly* sold out, though I may still have a few extras to sell after I complete my counts. To get on the waitlist, send me an email. (dinosaurdracula on gmail) Thanks!!
