Well guys, for the first time in many, many months, Funpack subscriptions are finally back open!
…but depending on how this one performs, this may be the last time subscriptions are open until November or later. Which means that if you want to guarantee yourself the three Halloween boxes that start in August, joining now might be the only way to do that!
UNITED STATES ONLY! LIMITED SUPPLY!
The June 2022 Funpack has a real old school Funpack feel, and I mean that in a good way. It’s a box of summer-fueled nonsense, featuring everything from awesome old toys to weird new food to a big shiny Choco Taco sticker.
As y’all should know by now, Funpack subscriptions are $25 a month (including shipping), and for as long as you remain subscribed, you’ll keep getting boxes of weird/great nonsense every month. (You can cancel whenever you want, of course!)
Scroll to the bottom for ordering info, or keep reading to learn about everything in the June Funpack!
First we have this adorable Genie plush doll from Disney’s Aladdin, dressed for the heat and ready to dish out treats. These dolls are around seven inches tall and are officially licensed!
The tag on Genie’s ass is undated, but I know for sure that these are pretty old dolls that you’re certainly not gonna find in any store. These are coming straight out of factory cases and have never been used!
I’m thrilled AF to send each of you a 2.3 ounce cup of Cheetos Mac ‘n Cheese! Ohhh yes. Boasting a “bold & cheesy” flavor, this stuff is delicious, frighteningly orange, and the perfect quick meal for a hot afternoon when your idea of “cooking” goes no further than punching buttons on the microwave.
These cups are LARGE, too! They just barely fit inside the Funpack box. Dig that Chester Cheetah art! This is absolutely worth the 250-calorie investment.
*ONE* FUNNY FRY FRIEND PER FUNPACK!
Man, I’m not sure why I’m burying this one midway through the post, because it’s probably gonna be your favorite item in this month’s box. Each of you will receive *one* vintage McDonald’s Funny Fry Friends figure, from the classic 1989 Happy Meal set!
OH GOD, I LOVE THESE. Basically, they’re Fry Guy figures with removable accessories, and some of them get pretty strange. I’m drawing from the entire set of eight, so while you might get one of the figures shown above, you’re just as likely to end up with a different one.
These are really neat, and they’re still in their original McDonald’s baggies. If you’re extra lucky, yours will come with an old coupon book stuffed with 1980s product shots!
NOTE ON CONDITION: All figures are unused in their original bags. These are pretty heavy for Happy Meal toys, so some of the bags may have split-open sides. I haven’t encountered any that did, but just know that there’s a chance yours will.
Next we have this neat little pile of vintage trading card packs, plus a packet of Sharkleberry Fin Kool-Aid! (Yeah, they still make it! You can drink this!)
As for the card packs, you’ll get these three:
– Dinosaurs TV Series Cards! (1992)
– Star Trek 25th Anniversary Cards! (1991)
– Avengers: Age of Ultron Cards! (2015)
Have fun tearing ‘em open as you swig bright pink Kool-Aid!
Wait, there’s more! I created this pair of reproduction ice cream truck decals, using stickers from my vast collection. These repros are in the true blue ‘80s and ‘90s styles, even if they’re not quite as large as the originals.
You’ll get a 6” vinyl Choco Taco sticker *and* a 5” vinyl Screwball sticker. These are two of the most classic and most famous ice cream decals of ‘em all, and they’re gonna fill you all sorts of warm fuzzies. (They’re also gonna make you run out to buy ice cream.)
This month’s 5×7” cardstock mini-poster features a vintage can of Cherry Coke chilling on my lawn, while this month’s exclusive 2×2” sticker will help you remember a time when TMNT “Pizza Points” were as good as cash.
Rounding things out, you’ll also receive this month’s Funpack Newsletter, plus an exclusive essay that will never be reprinted on the site!
This month’s essay covers my nutty trip to Pennsylvania to pick up a goddamned Pepsi Big Slam cooler. It’s a story about long drives, rest stops, awkward encounters and spilled coffee. I think you’ll be into it.
So you’ll get all of the above, shipped to your door for just $25.
If you’re already a Funpack subscriber and you’d like to stay that way… do nothing! You’re all set!
