Dino Drac After Dark

Macabre Movies of the Week! (#8)

Gonna keep this edition of Macabre Movies of the Week simple. (And crowd-pleasing!)

Below are three different compilations of old school Halloween commercials. They’re such great spirit-boosters! Each includes loads of ads from the ’80s and ’90s, running the gamut from stuff you’ll certainly remember to stuff you’ve never heard of.

Enjoy!

Frightening Free-For-All Thread! (#7)

Dino Drac After Dark has been updated for the week, so after you’re done here, check out the new Sinister Survey, Chilling Challenge and Macabre Movies of the Week! (Just scroll down the page. You know the deal by now!)

This is your Frightening Free-For-All Thread. (The seventh of the season, because JFC does time move fast!) Talk about whatever you want, all week long!

Sinister Survey! (#7)

Okay, Sinister Survey time!

This week, I want to hear about your SPOOKY PRIZED POSSESSIONS.

Maybe it’s an oddball Halloween decoration that you’ve kept since childhood. Maybe it’s some super expensive prop that you splurged on. Maybe it’s an obscure Frankenstein action figure that you rescued from a yard sale.

I’ll start you off with one of mine: A complete set of Kool-Aid’s Halloween flavors, including the extremely rare Canadian editions. I spent well over a decade searching for those!

Your turn. Name one or more of your spooky prized possessions, in the comments.

Photos aren’t necessary, but if you have one, feel free to link to it.

Macabre Movies of the Week! (#7)

For this edition of Macabre Movies of the Week, I’m gonna throw some love to the music videos for some of our favorite Halloween tunes. After all, we hear these tracks a billion times every October, but how often do we actually watch the videos?

Rockwell – Somebody’s Watching Me

Alice Cooper – The Man Behind The Mask

Dokken – Dream Warriors

Enjoy! Feel free to link to some of your favorite spooky music videos in the comments, too.
